Buskins was founded about 20 years ago by an American mother who could not find good soft-soled leather shoes for her babies.  During a visit to Australia, she stumbled across the cute baby shoes, and she brought them back to the States and founded Buskins.  In 2007, Buskins had changed ownership and now distributed by Jazzies LLC.  Since the takeover, we have refreshed our brand by relaunching the online store, redesigning the packaging and added new designs.  We focus on what we do best:  soft-soled leather shoes with velcro straps.

Our design of the Velcro strap makes the shoes easy to put on and stay on babies’ feet.  We focus on fit, and they are especially good for babies with chubby feet.  Traditional soft-soled shoes with elastic bands sometimes leave red marks on the babies' feet and can cause discomfort.  Our shoes come in 6 sizes for 0-24 months to sure the right fit for the little feet.  Our shoes are recommended by many mothers and pediatricians.  All shoes are handmade in Australia where our craftsmen have more than two decades of experience making soft-soled leather shoes, much earlier than our competitors.
